Get Glucose values on Android device without NFC

It is possible to use Juggluco on a phone without NFC to display glucose values received via Bluetooth. This can in two ways:

  1. An other phone has a Bluetooth connection with the sensor and sends it to Juggluco on the phone without NFC (how to do it over the internet);

  2. A phone with NFC first sends data to the phone without NFC (as in 1) and thereafter the phone without NFC forms a Bluetooth connection with the sensor and the one with NFC stops having a connection with the sensor.

First get Juggluco running on the device with NFC. Thereafter install Juggluco on the device without NFC.

First go to the device with NFC left middle menu-> mirror and notice the IP after wlan and the port after port (Figure A).

Now go to the device without NFC and open left middle menu->Mirror and press Add Connection (Figure B).

Fill in the remembered port after Port and the IP after IPS. Check Test Label and fill in a label for example "alabel". Check Receive from and fill in a password if you want.

Hereafter press Save.

Now notice in the overview screen the IP of the device without NFC after wlan and the port after Port (Figure C).

Go to the device with NFC, and press left middle menu->Mirror->Add Connection (Figure D). Fill in the Port after Port and the IP after IPs. Set Test Label and fill in the previous label "alabel". Check Amounts, Scans and Stream. Fill in the same password as above. Press on Save.

Press on Sync. And wait a few minutes. If nothing arrives you can try to turn off and on WiFi, press re-init or sync. If that doesn't work check again if you filled in everything correctly.

Directly connect phone without NFC

First you should do something with the network connection between the phones. You can delete the connection on both sides or reverse the direction of the stream values:

- On the phone with NFC go to left middle menu->mirror and touch the connection you created before. Here you unset Stream and set "Receive from" and save.

- On the phone without NFC, you go to left middle menu->mirror touch the created connection and set Stream and save.

To connect the one without NFC directly with the sensor via Bluetooth, you should in left menu->Sensor turn OFF  "Use Bluetooth" in the one with NFC and turn it ON in the one without NFC.

To get rid of interference of the phone without NFC, you can power it off or at least turn off Bluetooth. When the phone without NFC receives glucose values over Bluetooth, you can put it on again.
