Insulin onboard (IOB)

IOB is a measure of how much insulin remains from previous insulin doses. Before Juggluco 9.2.0 the Blood Insulin Concentration curve of Insulin Aspart was used to estimate IOB. Now you can specify the type of insulin and Juggluco will use a Blood Insulin concentration curve specific for that insulin type. Specify Not if the label doesn’t stand for a fast acting Insulin, otherwise specify the type of insulin. The choices are:

• Human Insulin/Humulin R/Novolin R

• Insulin Aspart/NovoRapid/NovoLog

• Insulin Lispro/Humalog

• Insulin Glulisine/Apidra

• Fiasp

• URLi

• Afrezza
